Data Deletion — WorkTracker
Developer: LP Software Contact: legal@worktracker.es
How to request deletion of your data
You can request the deletion of your WorkTracker account and the associated personal data, except for data that must be retained due to legal obligations or other legitimate reasons.
You have two equivalent options:
Option 1 — From the app
- Open WorkTracker.
- Go to Options (main menu).
- Select GDPR Request.
- The app generates a ready-to-send email template.
- Send it: we will review your request and respond within the timeframe indicated below.
Option 2 — By email
Write to legal@worktracker.es including:
- Your full name or account username.
- A description of what you want deleted (full account, specific data, etc.).
We may request additional information to verify your identity before processing the request.
We will respond to your request within the applicable legal timeframe. In general, requests will be handled within one month of receipt, except in complex or legally justified cases.
What data gets deleted?
When a deletion request is processed, the following may be deleted, among others:
- User account and associated technical identifiers.
- Time records (clock-ins and check-in/check-out events).
- Incidents logged by the user.
- Photos attached to incidents (if any were uploaded).
- Push tokens for the device (FCM).
- Usage data linked to the user profile.
What data may be retained?
In certain cases, some data may be kept for as long as necessary due to:
- Legal and labour obligations: time records must be kept in accordance with applicable regulations (e.g. 4 years under Spanish law).
- Tax or accounting obligations.
- Audit and integrity: change logs required for system consistency.
- Security: access logs or events needed to prevent fraud or incidents.
- Defence of claims: relevant data while legal proceedings or claims are active.
Once the obligation justifying retention ceases, that data will also be deleted.
Note for business accounts (B2B)
WorkTracker is a workforce management service operated on behalf of companies (data controllers). If your account is linked to a company:
- The deletion request may require coordination with that company.
- The company is responsible for its employees’ work-related data.
- In that case, we will guide you to the appropriate channel.
